Mission Statement:
The ability to gain and maintain employment is an integral part of an ex-offenders successful reentry. The Education and Employment Committee offers a comprehensive plan that will allow for the successful reintegration of ex-offenders into the Northern Shenandoah Valley communities by:

Creating a coordinated network of employers willing to give ex-offenders a second chance

Design employment and retention services to meet both the needs of the ex-offender as well as the employer

Utilizing various funding sources to provide on-the-job training, occupational skills training, as well as meet other assessed needs

Northern Shenandoah Valley Adult Education offers free classes throughout the region.
